How do I know when my place is confirmed?
Once you have submitted a booking form (either online, via fax, email or post) your booking will be processed. You will receive an invoice in the post and an email confirming your place at the conference. If you do not receive an email confirming your place within 3 working days from the booking date please contact us.
How can I pay for my booking?
At time of booking
Payment can be submitted by credit card at time of booking either by using our online secure payment facility or by filling in the booking form from the back of the brochure. NB credit card details cannot be accepted via email for security reasons.
After booking has been submitted
An invoice will be sent out. Payment can be made via:
- BACS, please ensure remittance advice is sent.
- Cheque, made payable to ACT (Administration) Ltd.
- Credit card, by using the remittance slip on the invoice or via our online secure payment form at http://secure.treasurers.org/
Do I need to do any preparation in advance of the conference?
You should:
- Make your own transport arrangements to the venue (how to get there)
- Book accommodation for the duration of your stay (if applicable)
- Complete the online form to confirm your place at the gala dinner
What will I receive from the ACT prior to the conference?
Once registered and confirmed to attend the conference you will receive full joining information six weeks prior to the conference taking place, which will include information on Manchester City Centre (www.manchestercentral.co.uk)
When will I receive tickets for the conference?
There are no ‘tickets’ issued for the conference. You will receive a name badge upon registration at the conference itself, which will act as your conference ‘pass’.
When will I receive my delegate pack?
All delegate packs are given on the first day of registration at the conference.
Can I have a copy of the delegate list prior to the conference taking place?
A delegate list will not be available prior to the conference but will be given out upon registration at the conference itself.
What will I receive at registration at the conference itself?
Delegates will receive a name badge, which will act as their delegate pass for the duration of the conference, and a delegate pack which will include an agenda and copies of presentations slides.
What do I need to bring with me on the day?
It is advised to bring a note pad and pen to take notes during the session.
What is the dress attire?
It is preferred for delegates to be wearing business attire.
How can I cancel my booking?
Once a booking form has been received the cancellation terms will apply (inclusive or exclusive of payment). All cancellations must be received in writing for a refund less 15% cancellation fee. Cancellation received after this date will not be refunded.
Can I change the name on my booking if I am unable to attend?
Delegates can nominate a colleague to attend in their place, this does not incur any costs. All name changes must be submitted in writing.
