The ACT held its fourth conference in Hong Kong on 4th December, bringing together almost 150 treasury and finance professionals to share experiences and common issues.

“A qualified treasurer makes the best treasurer” – Will Spinney, Associate Director of Education at the ACT, opened the conference with a reminder of what the ACT stands for. On the 27th floor of the Cheung Kong Center and a long way from London, it turns out that the things keeping treasurers awake at night in Asia are much the same as those keeping treasurers awake at night back in Europe. Access to funding, changing regulation, counterparty risk and getting the most from your cash – it’s a familiar world.
