The ACT Annual Conference 2008 will take place in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is conveniently located for both international and UK delegates and has excellent rail, air and road links. Information on how to travel to Edinburgh (with approximate travel times) are shown below:

  • By train: Avoid the hassle of Heathrow or grappling with Gatwick and relax on your journey to Edinburgh by train instead. Direct trains from London's King Cross to Edinburgh Waverley station take just over 4 hours.
    Edinburgh is served by two railway stations in the centre of the city. Waverley is the main station and is 10 minutes by taxi from the EICC, whilst Haymarket is only a 5 minute stroll from the EICC. For further information visit www.nationalrail.co.uk

  • By air: Edinburgh airport is conveniently located for the EICC, with links to a wide range of international airports. It takes an hour and 20 minutes to fly to Edinburgh from Central London.
