Meeting rooms for members' use at the ACT Members looking for basic meeting room facilities in the City may be interested to know that the ACT has a small number of rooms at its offices at 51 Moorgate that they can use if available. We have limited resources and so use of the rooms by members would be subject to the following conditions:
- Priority for rooms must be given to ACT business so we can only accept bookings with a maximum of one week's notice.
- We have three rooms that can each seat approximately eight people comfortably and two of the rooms can be opened up to seat a maximum of 20 people.
- There is no charge for using a room for less than eight people for no more than two hours.
- For larger or more formal meetings a charge of £100 + VAT would be made per half day.
- We cannot provide on-site catering but we do have a small hot drinks machine and water dispenser adjacent to the meeting rooms that members could use on a self-serve basis. Provided we have at least 24 hours notice, we can order in pastries, sandwiches and fruit from our own caterers and the cost of this will be invoiced to you.
- Our reception is manned from 0830 to 1730 and for security reasons meetings can only be booked to take place within these times.
