Associate Membership (AMCT)

Associate Membership of the ACT brings with it a range of benefits, access to advice and guidance and the rights to use the widely recognised designatory letters AMCT after your name. Once you have successfully compled the AMCT exams, you can apply for Associate Membership.

As an associate member of the ACT you will have access to a network of contacts and enjoy benefits including:

  • Use of the designatory letters AMCT after your name
  • Ten issues of The Treasurer per year
  • Discount on ACT conferences and events
  • A copy of The International Treasurer's Handbook
  • Discount on other publications
  • ACT Directory - hard copy format and access to the frequently updated electronic version on this site.
  • Access to the state-of-the-art library and research facilities at the ICAEW library. More information can be found here: www.treasurers.org/membership/library
  • Technical Queries Hotline - A free online service for members, providing answers by email to your technical queries.
  • You will have full voting rights and the opportunity to stand for election to Council (there is a maximum of ten AMCTs permitted on the Council at any time). You can participate in Technical Working Groups and ensure that your views on treasury issues are representated in the lobbying work that the ACT undertakes on behalf its membership. Recent consultations have put forward members' views on the introduction of treasury shares and EU conduct of business rules.

    To apply for membership after successful completion of the AMCT qualification, please complete the application form below and return it to mtrickey@treasurers.org. An invoice will then be sent to you on receipt of the completed form. Please note that the designatory letters AMCT may only be used by members.
