The treasurer’s lot is not an easy one. More often than not our activity is non-core to our employers. If we are lucky enough to have financially savvy management, we may be considered necessary hygiene rather than context to be offloaded along with the other outsourced support functions. In any case, in these challenging times, we come under increasing pressure to do more with less.
