It is fair to say that, in the two years or so that Rob Ruijter has been in charge at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the resilience of the KLM finance function in the face of change has been well and truly tested. As the CFO of the Dutch airline says:“Volatility, in all its forms, is perhaps the greatest challenge we are facing.”
