Group Treasurer - FTSE 100 plc

Salary: Negotiable c. £140-150k + 80% Target Bonus (120% max)

Our client is a fast growing major plc providing specialist services to institutional clients. With operations in over 20 financial centres internationally, it is a global leader in its field. Promotion to a broader finance role as part of a development programme has created a need for an ambitious “hands-on” Group Treasurer to lead its small Treasury team and to continue acting as a catalyst for change within Finance. Capable of conceptualising and articulating complex financial strategies, key remits will embrace the management of capital structure, hedging policy and minimisation of FX exposure and cash management. The role would appeal to a FTSE100 Assistant Treasurer or FTSE250 Treasurer with the keen desire to operate across a wider agenda (e.g. M&A structuring) and to develop their career more broadly. Working in an international group, managing large FX exposures and experience of capital structuring would be an advantage. You should also be comfortable working in a “US-style” culture.
Candidates will be graduates who preferably are also qualified accountants and/or MBAs; and ideally should be ACT qualified.
