PA Consulting Group is looking to recruit a Treasury Manager to join their Melbourn office.This role will involve working alongside the Group Treasury manager, helping to provide a full treasury service to the Global PA Group.
Skills/Personal Qualities
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of capital markets, money markets and foreign exchange markets, including respective products and derivatives. This person will also have a sound knowledge of business and accounting theories. They will need to have a hands on attitude and be willing to assist where necessary in all areas within Treasury. They will be a self starter, with the ability to use their initiative and be self motivated. They will need strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. They will need strong computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Excel.
Some of the dimensions of the role
- Understand and be able to cover the dealing activity and cash management.
- Understand FX, MM and derivative trading.
- Monitor Treasury policy and procedures to ensure compliance with the appropriate statutory, legal and regulatory requirements, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain bank and dealing mandates.
- Review and update the Groups Treasury policy as required.
- Be effective cover for the Group Treasury Manager.
Qualifications
Qualified ACA and/or ACT or equivalent as well as experience of corporate treasury management, on an international basis.
