Group Treasurer

Holding market leading positions and with a track record of earnings growth and creating shareholder value, it employs over 14,000 people in operations in North America, Europe and across Asia. A long established FTSE 250 quoted company with revenues in excess of £600m, it now needs to strengthen the head office team by the recruitment of a Group Treasurer.

This is a newly created position, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, which will play a central role in developing a robust treasury infrastructure. The role will have a strong strategic focus and will involve management of foreign exchange risk, implementation of efficient cash management strategies and consolidation of banking facilities across the globe.

Being a small head office function, the successful candidate will also be involved in tax and other corporate finance projects.

The individual we require is likely to be a graduate calibre qualified Accountancy and Treasury professional with significant experience of managing the Treasury affairs of a large, international organisation. You will have the stature and credibility to influence at all levels as well as the ability to build the function in line with the predicted growth of the business. This is a hands-on position and will require some international travel.
