Group Treasurer

Location: FTSE 250 plc, London
Salary: £80k to £100k + executive benefits

A market leader in its field, our client is a profitable FTSE 250 business with turnover approaching £2bn. The Group operates in both the UK and the USA, with a sector leading performance and proven growth strategies. The Group now seeks an experienced and high calibre executive to head up the group treasury function based in the headquarters in Central London.

The Group Treasurer will have responsibility for the delivery of all treasury requirements; including global banking activities, market rate risk (including commodities), group financing, debt provider relationships, and reporting for all of the above. He/she will be a key part of the group senior financial management team and, accordingly, will have the opportunity to be involved in financial planning projects and initiatives at group level. The incumbent will also work closely with the divisions in managing their liquidity and periodic cash projections. He/she will manage an Assistant Treasurer.

Candidates are likely to have passed ACT examinations, and may well have an accountancy qualification as well. They will have gained a number of years of broad corporate treasury and financial experience in international corporations. This role will be ideally suited to an executive with experience at assistant treasurer grade but who is looking to step up to a role with greater breadth and responsibility.
