Part of the ACT’s policy and technical work is to keep a lookout for new legislation or other rules that could affect treasurers, positively or negatively. In the case of the OTC derivative proposals in the US and Europe, we have been actively engaged with all manner of official bodies trying to limit any unintended and unwelcome consequences.
