Our highly respected Treasury function has played a vital role in the Group’s growth strategy. To build on this success, we are now seeking a Head of Treasury to lead the function, support future growth and capitalise on the many opportunities the role presents.

The role

  • Lead and coach the global Treasury function for Serco consisting of onshore and offshore teams
  • Develop, deliver and own the Group’s Treasury strategy and articulate this, and make recommendations to, key internal stakeholders
  • Lead on capital market and funding related activities. Develop new relationships to support international growth as required
  • Play a major role in supporting and advising the Corporate Finance and Taxation functions on UK and international M&A activity

The candidate

  • Highly accomplished Treasury professional, with a strong track record of managing Treasury teams in blue chip organisations
  • Qualified accountant with MCT a distinct advantage
  • A collaborative working style that engenders relationships with a variety of teams
  • Inspirational team leader who takes a mentoring approach to staff development
  • Confident, outgoing personality who can interact successfully at all levels
