Two members of the ACT’s advisory panel have been recognised in the New Year’s Honours List for their services to the financial services industry. Paul Spencer, former ACT president and lately chairman of NS&I, becomes a CBE, while Paul Boyle, former chief executive of the Financial Reporting Council, was awarded an OBE. Boyle is on the ACT advisory board and Spencer is about to step down as its first chairman.
