The position is responsible for providing cross-functional quantitative analytical support to Treasury Front Office, Treasury Middle Office and Corporate Finance. Focusing on:

• Maintaining statistical models to determine the impact of Etihad’s financial market exposures and risks related to fuel price, foreign exchange, interest rates, carbon emissions and credit markets
• Analyzing long-term capital planning models
• Initiate regular medium and long term cash flow forecasting
• Modeling and analysis of borrowing and asset/project financing proposals

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualification & Education – Must hold a Degree in Economics or Statistics and have some form of formal statistical training. FRM or CFA qualifications are advantageous

Experience - At least 3 years’ experience in a corporate or banking treasury teams, focusing on risk management systems and statistical and derivative pricing theory and practice; Measuring the exposure to various types of financial risk in a complex environment

Other - Knowledge of the airline industry and specific financing practices is advantageous; Must be fully computer literate and very comfortable with Excel and VBA; Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
