AMCT exemptions

Exemptions are available from one or more of the four modules that comprise the AMCT stage one – Certificate in Financial Fundamentals (CertFin)

  • Financial and Management Accounting (FMA)
  • Economics and Statistical Analysis (ESA)
  • Corporate Taxation (CT)
  • Business Law (BL)

Exemption awards are based upon any relevant academic or professional qualifications you have gained. The ACT does not award exemptions from the CertFin exams on the basis of professional experience or exemptions you have gained from previous qualifications.

If your relevant academic and/ or professional qualification is not listed as eligible for automatic exemption, you can apply to have it reviewed on an individual basis.

For terms and conditions of exemptions read the enrolment policy.
