FAQ: Tuition & revision days

Tuition & revision days

Do I have to book tuition and revision courses?

With the exception of Certificate in International Cash Management which has a five-day compulsory tuition school, all our tuition and revision courses are optional.

Tuition has been tailored to cover the key areas of the course – reinforcing and improving knowledge. Each day is intensive, covering a number of topics in detail with lecturers, worked examples and tutorial sessions. Tuition is suitable for you if you want to supplement your home study with classroom-based teaching.

Revision covers exam preparation techniques, revision, tutor-structured solutions and exam question practice. The objective of the revision course is to revise material covered earlier, to enhance your confidence in attempting exam standard questions in the topics covered. Coverage is not comprehensive, but is designed to complement your final exam preparations and the previous tuition course and/or home study programme.

Spaces for optional teaching are limited. You are advised to book the tuition/revision course for the certificate you intend to take when you enrol.

Where are the tuition and revision courses held?

All our courses are held in central London (excluding International Cash Management).

The International Cash Management five-day tuition school is a compulsory part of the course and is currently held in Northampton in the UK. Other schools are held outside of the UK, see the ICM course page for further information.

Is there only one set of dates for teaching courses?

We are only able to offer one set of dates per tuition/revision course. Dates for all course are available on the course page, go to the tuition tab.

What time do the courses start and finish?

Registration is from 8.30am, teaching starts at 9:00 and finishes by 17:00 (excluding International Cash Management).
