Red Balloon Learner Centre Group

Red Balloon Learner Centre Group is the only charity in the UK set up specifically to recover severely bullied children who are out of school and missing education, providing short-term educational and therapeutic programmes.
They do this by
- One-to-one and small group teaching and learning
- Therapy (where appropriate)
- Exploring feelings through the creative arts
They do this because
- They believe that every child has potential, should be given the opportunity to achieve and should be able to return to society and make a positive contribution
They aim to
- Raise their student’s self-esteem
- Get them back on an academic track
- Support their return to mainstream school or entry to sixth-form college, further education or employment
95% of children who stay longer than six weeks at a Red Balloon Centre return to mainstream school, go on to college, further education or into employment.
