Data Protection

The ACT is a registered data user under the Data Protection Act. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties without your express consent.

How do we protect your personal information?

Online purchases are made through our ecommerce provider WorldPay Ltd (referred to as ‘pay online’). WorldPay is fully secure and bank endorsed and utilises a range of industry standards and WorldPay's unique security and fraud prevention systems, combined with fault tolerant secure server networks and firewalls. The WorldPay secure server encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us, so that the internet transaction stays private and protected. Furthermore, in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998, (as amended from time to time) we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access.

If you submit your credit cards details online for us to process (referred to as ‘submit credit card details to the ACT for payment processing’) your credit card details are temporarily stored in a secure database to complete the transaction manually but will be deleted permanently once the transaction has been approved by your credit card provider.
