We are seeking experienced technical experts and people with tutoring/training/assessment experience who would like to support the delivery and further development of the ACT’s educational offering.
If you have at least 3 years experience in any of the technical areas listed below, and are either ACT qualified, hold a finance-related qualification, or have academic experience in either tutoring/lecturing or assessing finance courses, we would be keen to hear from you.
Immediate areas of expertise needed:
- ESG/financial sustainability
- AI and its impact for treasury
- Cash and liquidity management
- Banking
- Risk
- FX
- Working capital
- Corporate treasury and finance
- Cashflow
- Latest technologies
- Financial reporting, tax, regulation, and cash forecasting
- Payment systems and processes.
We are currently looking for people to support in the below roles:
Content research
- Ability to research
- Experience of writing technical content
- Work to timelines
- Be part of a project team
Authoring
- Excellent understanding of the subject matter
- Experience of writing learning/educational content for the ACT study guides, examples you may have written could be business reports and proposals
- Ability to prepare and deliver content through different media formats (e.g. webinars, videos, podcasts)
- Able to write activity type questions and progress tests which will test understanding of the subject matter
- Work to timelines
- Be part of a project team
Tutoring
- Minimum commitment of a year, but ideally longer to build a good relationship with our learners
- Excellent understanding of the subject matter
- Able to design and run online and/or face to face sessions and produce any material in the form of slides and pre and post work
- Support learners through online forums
- Run 1-2-1 coaching sessions with the ability to effectively review, monitor and offer guidance
- Experience of teaching/training or mentoring and coaching desirable
- Enjoys sharing knowledge, able to present in an engaging manner and help support learners to achieve their goals
Assessment
- Ongoing commitment (minimum commitment of two years)
- Able to author exam questions and mark schemes, in line with house style and syllabus
- Mark or moderate exam answers to the set mark schemes
- Work to set timelines
- Experience of assessment desirable but not essential.
