Future Leaders in Treasury: Demystifying credit ratings

5-7 Carlton Gardens, Stirling Square, London, SW1Y 5AD
17:30 - 20:30, 09 March 2020
Demystifying credit ratings

A credit rating brings a number of benefits including increasing the pool of investors and reducing the cost of borrowing. It also increases the level of confidence that the company’s other stakeholders, including customers, regulators, shareholders, etc., have in the company.

Whether you are looking at getting a rating for the first time or you are looking to get an additional rating, the relationship you build and maintain with the rating agencies becomes a key consideration.

This evening will provide a practical case study on what it’s like to get a rating for the first time, as well as discussing ongoing relationship management. We will then look at the impact of the rating on financing. We finish the evening with a panel discussion with the three key credit rating agencies – Fitch, Moody’s and S&P, followed by networking drinks.

This event is for members only and has been developed by the Future Leaders in Treasury group.

The ACT would like to thank Citi for hosting the event.
