The ACT Diversity and Inclusion Calendar has been developed with the aim to provide an inclusive platform for all treasury professionals to share their experience on engaging and empowering underrepresented groups in corporate treasury.

The ACT looks forward to the opening of our inaugural event on the ACT Diversity and Inclusion Calendar – an evening focusing on gender balance in the treasury profession. We’d like to welcome a broad range of attendees to the event to encourage open discussion and sharing of experiences.

DianaDiana Brightmore-Armour, CEO – UK & Europe, ANZ
The business provides relationship coverage and financial solutions to a client base of large, multinational corporations headquartered in the UK and Europe, with global operations in one or more of the 34 markets in which ANZ operates. Since joining ANZ in October 2013, Diana’s focus has been on uptiering the Bank’s relationship capabilities, driving ANZ to achieve Trusted Advisor status with its key clients. Prior to her role at ANZ, Diana was CEO of Corporate Banking at Lloyds Banking Group, a significant coverage business in Wholesale Banking and Markets, operating across the UK and in North America. She is a strong supporter of talent development and gender diversity, both within ANZ via the Bank’s ‘Plus One Pledge’ scheme and externally through her involvement with the 30% Club, City Women’s Network and First Women Awards. She is a Fellow member of both the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

JillJill Harrison, Treasury Manager, Whitbread Group
Jill is a Fellow of both the ICAEW and ACT, with 16 years’ experience within multinational businesses. Jill is Group Treasury Manager at Whitbread, a FTSE 50 business best known for its Costa and Premier Inn brands. Her role involves all aspects of treasury including cash management, group funding and investment, risk, compliance and managing relationships with the group’s lenders including its syndicate of nine banks. Prior to this, Jill spent three years in San Francisco, providing treasury and tax consultancy services to WANdisco, an early stage software business with solutions addressing the big data market. She has also worked in the tax and treasury functions of Grainger (the UK’s largest listed residential property company) and The Sage Group (FTSE 100 listed software business) following qualification as a Chartered accountant with Deloitte.

Stockmann-CCaroline Stockmann, Chief Executive, Association of Corporate Treasurers
Caroline Stockmann was appointed Chief Executive of the Association of Corporate Treasurers from 1 February 2017. Caroline previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at The British Council, the UK’s largest charity and prior to that at Save the Children International. She has 25 years’ experience in senior finance, commercial and strategic posts at several charitable and commercial organisations including Southbank Centre, Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Switzerland) and Unilever/Bestfoods. Caroline trained with KPMG and is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

K TohKaren Toh, Treasurer, Grosvenor
Karen Toh, FCT, CPA, MSc in Finance, is the Treasurer for Grosvenor Group. Her team’s responsibilities include leading a multi-year treasury transformation project, developing treasury strategy and policy, originating and executing debt and derivatives, and co-ordinating relationships‎ with financial institutions. Karen’s team provides advice to Grosvenor's businesses worldwide as well as assurance to the Grosvenor Group by reviewing financing, treasury positions and risks globally. Prior to joining Grosvenor in 2013, Karen worked in corporate finance at Rio Tinto where her focus was on raising financing at both project and corporate level. Karen also spent 15 years with Royal Dutch Shell in a variety of roles in M&A, treasury and across the business where she gained experience in structured finance and risk management. Karen sits on the Board and Audit Committee of the Wandle Housing Association in a non-executive capacity.
