We teach, examine and accredit treasury professionals through an internationally-recognised suite of qualifications. We are respected worldwide as the benchmark in treasury education. We need to ensure our operations and procedures deliver at the highest quality. Join us in a role in the external assessment team which is key in ensuring we maintain this quality.

Are you in a position to work as a consultant to the ACT? If so, we are looking for a Level Assessor and a Senior Assessor to join our assessment team on a part-time basis. You will need to have academic understanding of levels, assessment development, standardisation, moderation and cash management knowledge is a must!

The two positions currently available in the external assessment team:

1. Level Assessor - Award in Cash Management Fundamentals
2. Senior Assessor - Certificate in International Cash Management

1. LEVEL ASSESSOR FOR THE AWARD IN CASH MANAGEMENT FUNDAMENTALS (AwardCMF)

The Award in Cash Management Fundamentals is designed to provide students with an understanding of the essentials of cash management and working capital, allowing those who are new to the subject the opportunity to get to grips with fundamental areas before moving onto the full Certificate in International Cash Management.

Level Assessor role and responsibilities:

  • review, update, maintain and monitor performance of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) bank for the qualification
  • question bank performance reporting
  • results moderation when necessary
  • syllabus review
  • assist in new team selection and training if required

2. SENIOR ASSESSOR FOR THE CERTIFICATE IN INTERNATIONAL CASH MANAGEMENT (CertICM)

The Certificate in International Cash Management is the definitive qualification in cash management for both corporate and financial institutions delivering significant insights from a global perspective.

Senior Assessor role and responsibilities:

  • developing and writing the assessments and marking schemes ensuring that the academic standard is consistent and appropriate to the level
  • where necessary, review, investigate and moderate individual’s marks to achieve this standard, or reallocate scripts where this is not possible
  • standardising the marking approach taken by the assessors to ensure the standard is consistent across the team
  • assessment and marking team performance reporting and management
  • low volume assessment marking
