Accountable Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Group Treasurer for one of our clients in Cheshire. Our client is a leader within its global marketplace driven by its innovative, dynamic and customer focussed strategy and passion to succeed. We are looking to add a new member to the already talented senior management team by bringing together the management of the Group Treasury activities into one position, reporting into the Head of Treasury.

The role will encompass delivery of the Group’s front office operations, together with oversight and management of the Group’s back office treasury functions. Bringing a greater degree of rigour to the overall treasury operations of the Group, a key aspect of the role will be to review current process and procedures and to implement changes if required.

The main emphasis for this role will be:

  • Cash flow management & forecasting
  • Monitoring existing group debt facilities and covenants & refinancing as appropriate
  • Supporting & developing relationships with the Group’s external finance providers
  • FX management, including dealing with internal & external hedging requirements & appropriate regulatory reporting
  • Understanding and managing the Group’s balance sheet FX exposures
  • Interest rate management & other derivative products as required
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate reporting & communicating with the Group’s senior management team and Audit Committee as required
  • Ensuring Group Treasury activity is in line with the internal SOx control framework

The Group Treasurer will have:

  • University degree
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AMCT/MCT qualification
  • Familiarity with TMS, CNS being an advantage
  • Knowledge of cash pooling arrangements an advantage
  • Familiarity with bank platforms
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced level MS Excel

Salary and benefits:

Salary: Circa £80K
Car allowance: £4,950 per annum
Bonus: on target 10%, depending on company and individual performance can go up to 30%
Healthcare: For self and spouse
Pension: 5%/5%, after probation period an increase to 10% / 15% (employer)
Group income protection: up to 50% after completion of company sick pay
Death in service: 6 x salary
Holidays: 25 days, goes up to 28 with service
