Michael Page Treasury are recruiting for a Treasury Finance Analyst to join a leading FTSE 100 organisation. Reporting to the Group Treasury Manager, this role will be responsible for the delivery of back office treasury processes and controls as well as general support to the Treasury Manager. This role is to be based in their offices in Dunstable.

Group Treasury sits within the Group Finance function and is responsible for managing the group’s cash and funding position in the UK and across its international business. They manage an external debt portfolio in excess of £1 billion and are responsible for all interest rate and foreign exchange risk management across the group.

Detailed job description

Further responsibilities of the Treasury Finance Analyst include:

  • Opening and closing of all group bank accounts
  • Maintenance of bank mandates and electronic payments authorities
  • Control access to all internal/external online bank/trading systems
  • Post and reconcile corporate treasury accounting entries and corporate bank accounts
  • Responsible for the settlement of USPP and swap payments
  • Ensure internal control and financial risk management procedures are strictly enforced
  • Assist in developing best practice treasury KPIs and treasury reporting
  • Further treasury related projects as require

Candidate's profile

To be considered for the Treasury Finance Analyst position you require:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting/finance/treasury related role
  • Experience of treasury and banking operations in a corporate environment
  • Studying towards a treasury or accounting qualification
  • Experience of using a TMS (Reval is desirable)
  • Effective at building relationships and working as a part of a team
  • Clear communication both verbally and written
