Michael Page Treasury are recruiting a Treasury Analyst on behalf of our client, a FTSE 250 organisation, based in the Hertfordshire area.

This is a varied role with a primary focus on supporting all aspects of Group Treasury operations and activities with the opportunity to assist on a wide variety of ad hoc treasury projects that may arise.

Detailed job description

Further responsibilities of the Treasury Analyst include:

  • Consolidate cashflow forecasts and actualisations for group reporting purposes
  • Provide insightful analysis on cashflow forecasts and variance analysis on actual figures vs short term forecasts and budget/reforecasts
  • Update cashflow templates for annual budget and quarterly reforecasting cycles up to the point of commentary and review
  • Consolidate group FX cash flow forecasts to forecast and report on current and future hedging requirements
  • Periodic cash balance reporting up to the point of review
  • Assist in the development and automation of cash reporting as required
  • Assist in the dealing and confirmation processes as laid out in the treasury policy
  • Consolidate group month end bank reconciliations up to the point of review
  • Prepare multi-currency bank reconciliations for key Group bank accounts in line with the agreed treasury KPIs
  • Prepare monthly covenant reporting pack up to the point of review
  • Prepare treasury payments as required on the relevant banking platform
  • Maintain beneficiary bank details and user capabilities on relevant banking platforms

Candidate's profile

To be considered for the Treasury Analyst position you require:

  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Previous experience of working in a treasury function is vital
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
