Michael Page Treasury are recruiting for a Senior Treasury Analyst at a Multi-National Housing group based in Wolverhampton.

Over the past 18 months, the group has seen fast growth with some M&A activity. This role is key in the delivery of the Treasury function, supporting the financing of the projects which are underway across the group. The post-holder will be responsible for reviewing cashflow requirements across group entities, month-end Treasury journal postings, quarterly and annual funder covenant returns and dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Job Description:

The key responsibilities of the Senior Treasury Analyst will include:

  • Weekly cashflow forecasting across group entities to ensure short-term liquidity requirements are met
  • Month-end Treasury journal postings and variance analysis to budget
  • Monitoring compliance of Treasury Management Policies
  • Production of monthly Treasury report to Treasury Committee, reviewed by the Treasury Senior Manager
  • Ownership of monthly Treasury inputs to the medium-term cashflow forecast and quarterly regulator return
  • Submission of quarterly and annual funder covenant returns
  • Working with the Treasury Analyst to maintain the pool of charged security, including co-ordinating releases, ensuring compliance with asset and income cover security covenants and coordinating valuations
  • Develop strong working relationships with key banking contacts

 

Candidate's Profile:

To be considered for the Senior Treasury Analyst position you should have:

  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a relevant professional finance qualification
  • Extensive experience of working in a finance function, producing high quality deliverables to deadline, communicating with senior stakeholders and have a proven ability to improve existing processes
  • Experience in a Treasury environment is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience of resolving operational issues independently, but escalate to the Treasury Senior Manager where appropriate
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Significant experience in Excel
  • Experience of writing reports and presentations for Board or external audiences
