Brewer Morris are currently hiring for a Treasury Analyst position for a FTSE 100 FMCG business. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage the liquidity requirements of the group and its subsidiaries ensuring appropriate access to cash and the utilisation of excess funds
- Managing central cash pool arrangements and supporting regional cash pool owners
- Daily management of the Group’s foreign exchange rate risk and liquidity
- Perform the in-house bank operations to group businesses for cross border payments and management of foreign currency
- Primary point of contact for Back Office function queries in relation to confirmations, payments and accounting
- Provide treasury advice to the businesses, Group Finance, Group Tax and Business Performance
- Act as the first line holiday and sickness cover for Treasury Front Office, principally covering: -
- Execute dealing requirements with the Group relationship banks ensuring best pricing and operational effectiveness utilising both 360T and via telephone
- Daily positioning of FX exposures for central cash and call accounts
- Ensure efficient utilisation of the group surplus funds
- Support the development of the treasury management system (TMS) to extend its capabilities across the Group. Including version upgrades and releases
The successful candidate will be:
- Finance experience within large international businesses and specifically within Group Treasury Function (front office and middle office experience)
- Previous Treasury system experience required
- Good understanding of Banking, Capital Markets and treasury related taxation issues
- Good understanding of corporate risk management techniques and products
- Well-developed IT skills, preferably regarding the development and testing producers
- High level of interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with businesses, banks and within the head office
