Treasury Manager - Sustainable Finance

Our Treasury Team manages circa £2.6 billion of Sustainable Finance debt as well as significant cash balances in the capex reserve account holding proceeds of unallocated Sustainability Bonds and Sustainability Loans. This position will therefore play a fundamental role in controlling and managing the Sustainable Finance programme. Your expert technical skills in financial accounting will be key to this role, as you will be responsible for the following:

• Keeping the business informed of any benefits realised and expected from the sustainable finance programme.
• Ensuring the business is meeting its existing commitments related to sustainable finance and will realise the full benefits of sustainable finance.
• Managing the effective and efficient running of the Treasury Team ensuring all treasury, pensions, energy and banking transactions are processed efficiently from a control perspective on a “get it right first time” basis.
• Managing the day-to-day relationship with the relevant Account Bank to ensure delivery of the appropriate operational service, ensuring their formalities are met (e.g., completion of appropriate forms), and that appropriate limits are in place, for example when large debt or derivative transactions settle. Resolving issues through escalation to the appropriate parties at the Bank.
