Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and intelligent individual to join the Treasury team in Finance. This role will form a key part of the Treasury risk management framework. Main responsibilities include setting up Treasury models and risk reporting for the centralized trading entity. The role will also include ownership of Treasury Market data. Models are expected to cover a range of topics such as liquidity risk, forecasting and intercompany. The models should be set up and regularly updated to provide management information. This management information will be used to support decision making and effective Treasury risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury Modelling
- Building, maintaining, and managing models across Treasury.
- Collaboration across departments to establish effective processes.
- Ability to break down a problem and simplify the steps.
- Good workbook management, with version control and error checking throughout the model.
- Reliability in establish reporting dashboards that are regularly updated.
- Automation of processes were possible.
- Support Treasury forecasting and funding process.
- Support development of Treasury intercompany reporting.
- Corinthian Risk
- Set up of automated risk reports for Corinthian, the Treasury financial trading entity. Supporting adherence to the financial risk policy.
- Understanding of valuation for vanilla interest rate and FX products, for example, FX forwards and Interest rate swaps.
- Ability to sense check numbers and provide explanations for large movements.
- Provide regular slides to be presented at the financial risk monthly meeting.
- Support the Treasury team in execution of hedges.
- Collaboration with the risk and finance department to analyse PnL movements and provide explanation where needed.
- Ownership of Treasury Market data
- Set up of automated reports to provide Treasury Market data to the organization. For example, monthly FX forward data.
- Building relationships to understand data requirements.
- Management of Bloomberg data license and compliance with terms.
- Consolidate data requests and create efficiencies in data retrieves.
- Work with risk department to periodically assess suitability of the Treasury Market data.
- Ability to sense check numbers and provide explanation for large movements.
- Understanding of statistics and ability to analyse data, setting up things like confidence intervals.
- Review of SAP Hanna 4 adoption of data points from Bloomberg API.
Technical Skills
- Ability to build models and automate processes.
- Experienced in data analysis and understanding of statistics.
- Experience in financial modelling and balance sheet analysis (sources and uses).
- Understanding of liquidity risk and how inflows and outflows can be modelled.
- Strong communication and analysis skills.
- Strong ability using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

- [Desirable] professional qualifications e.g. CQF, CFA, FRM.
- [Desirable] an ability to use Power BI & macros.
- [Desirable] ability or interest in coding e.g. python.
Candidate Profile
5 years’ experience within a corporate finance or a bank OR 5 years’ experience within a Multi-National Corporate treasury function.
