Bursary scheme

Providing positive support

The ACT Educational Trust is a charity that promotes the treasury profession through education and support. The Trust offers bursaries to assist students from developing countries who are unable to fund or gain sponsorship for their studies, to study for an ACT qualification.

The bursary covers the Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals course fee, student membership fee and assessment fee. Having successfully completed the Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals, students can then apply for a bursary to cover the Certificate in Treasury and Diploma in Treasury Management.

If you are more interested in cash management specifically, you may wish to apply to study the Award in Cash Management Fundamentals. Again the bursary covers the course fee, student membership fee and assessment fee. Please note, the Certificate in Cash Management (the next stage after the Award) is not available under the bursary scheme.

How to apply

If you are a national and resident of one of the countries listed here, and are unable to gain sponsorship for your studies from your employer, please complete the bursary application form for CertTF here, or for AwardCMF here. Please note that if you are currently in employment, you are required to upload a signed employer's declaration form to your application form, confirming that company sponsorship is not available. You will be asked to confirm that you are not studying for another qualification when you apply to ensure you are able to focus fully on the ACT's qualification.

Deadline to apply

The next bursary deadline is 24 June 2018.

Selection procedure

Awarding of bursaries is based on their availability and the information provided on the application forms. The awards are made entirely at the discretion of the ACT Educational Trust.

Candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application via email within four weeks of the application deadline.

What happens after you complete the CertTF or AwardCMF?

If you would like to continue your studies please contact Louise Tatham for information on how to apply for further bursaries.

How to donate to the ACT Educational Trust

Funding for bursaries is via charitable donations. Any amount can be donated using our donation form.
