ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND EXEMPTIONS

ACT qualifications are designed to be a pathway so that you're supported at every level of your career. There are however a number of ways for you to get recognition for what you have already learnt and achieved through your previous studies of either professional qualifications or at university. This may result in exemptions ranging from one study unit to a whole qualification.

PARTNER UNIVERSITIES

The ACT offers an accreditation process for universities. It provides students and graduates with improved access to ACT’s professional treasury qualifications and helps support the development of future finance talent.

If you are studying or have studied with one of our accredited Universities you may be exempt from certain units.
Check to see if your university is an ACT Accredited University.

ACT Accredited Universities

If you represent a University, you can apply to become an ACT Accredited University. Find out more about how to apply here.

PARTNER ACCOUNTING BODIES

Treasury and accountancy as professions go hand-in-hand. The ACT therefore works closely with a global network of accounting bodies. Together we raise the profile of finance professionals, connect like-minded individuals and open doors for opportunities. We map our learning materials with theirs and where there is overlap, mutual exemptions apply.

If you are a qualified accountant, take a look at the full list of exemptions you may be eligible for.
