Pensions Regulator Publishes Revised Clearance Guidance - ACT Response

The Pensions Regulator provided further clarification in September of how it will use its powers with respect to corporate events, such as mergers and acquisitions, in draft guidance published for consultation today.

The ACT has responded to the consultation from the Pensions Regulator pointing out some specific difficulties with the new proposals and more generally expressing concern that the new form of guidance could introduce less clarity and certainty into the clearance process and hence cause unhelpful delays.
