Corporate Credit Ratings: what information to give to a credit rating agency?

You must register on the website to access this resource.

This article applies to credit rating agencies (CRAs) providing ‘solicited’ ratings and subject to a confidentiality agreement in respect of identified inside/price sensitive information.

Some CRAs will give ratings based merely on a statistical analysis of the published information about the company. With a solicited rating, the CRA has access to top management of the company and to non-public information.
