ACT evidence to HoC Treasury Committee inquiry into Independent Commission on Banking's final report

18 October 2011

The Commons Treasury Committee is carrying out an inquiry into the ICB Final Report.

The ICB report was published in September 2011 and proposed various measures to restructure UK retail banking, including ring-fencing and a requirement for additional loss absorbing capital.

The ACT gave oral evidence on 18th October 2011 and prior to that had submitted written evidence considering the impact the proposals might have on corporate customers of the banks.

A TV recording of the Committee proceedings on 18th October is available at http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Main/Player.aspx?meetingId=9170
