About the Event
The ACT and ICICI Bank are bringing together senior corporate leaders and treasury professionals to discuss India’s evolving role in the global economy.
We'll be covering what the deepening UK–India relationship means for businesses and corporate treasury functions - operations, investing and managing capital across two markets.
With the UK–India Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement entering into force in July 2026, the relationship between the two countries is entering an important new phase creating significant opportunities for businesses across a range of sectors. Bilateral trade was worth £48 billion in 2025, with a shared goal to double that by 2030. The discussion will move beyond trade opportunities to explore the commercial and treasury implications for companies operating / expanding between the UK and India
Taking place at The Cinnamon Club, housed in the former Westminster Library in the heart of London, the evening will begin with a panel discussion exploring what these developments mean for UK businesses, with a particular focus on the opportunities and challenges for corporate treasury.
Following the discussion, we invite you to join us for a Diwali networking reception to celebrate this year’s Festival of Lights, bringing together good food, conversation, and connections in one of London’s most distinctive Indian dining venues.
