Win a free place

THANK YOU AND A BIG WELL DONE

We received such a fantastic response to this year's competition to win a free place at the conference. It was far too difficult for us to select just one winning entry, so we decided to award the winning spot to the following three deserved entries. So, in no particular order, a huge congratulations goes out to the following entrants:

Glyn

We embrace technological disruption through implementing approaches to automate, analyse and present dynamically. Our treasury function has robotics downloading SAP data and uploading to Sharepoint, linking to Power BI for interactive reviews and presentation. Our process has been transformed; key benefits of data reliability, transparency and efficiency have been obtained. Glyn Steanson, Treasury Manager Asia Pacific, BASF

Joanna

The biggest disruption is Brexit and its influence on GBP and FX risk in general. The uncertainty of GBP position and its price against USD and EUR makes it difficult to budget for the next year. We at Save the Children International, receive GBP from our donors in the UK but the amount is not sufficient to cover our costs in this country. We therefore need to hedge GBP/USD before the end of the year in order to fix the rate for the future budget. Joanna Fanthorpe, Treasury Manager, Save the Children

Marie

The threat of cyber-security: ransomware, insider threats, privileged access and state sponsored cyber attacks. We have to be proactive, not reactive; to remain coordinated and be adaptable, close to appropriate administration of favoured access. Limiting access is not the answer; transparency and control are.

Marie Coyle, Manager, Treasury, PRA Health Sciences
