Working patterns have had to change as a result of COVID-19 but as organisations start to encourage their employees to return to the office there are many questions, implications and opportunities for leaders that arise due to the new working environment. Hybrid working is likely to become the new norm but it's important to think about how you build engagement and productivity when some of your team are working remotely and some are working in the office.

Geraldine is an HR consultant who has held roles in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the America's including leading the HR function for Standard Chartered Bank in Asia. Geraldine Haley is Founder and CEO of GH Consulting.
She manages a niche consultancy with an international client base and has personally worked in the Middle East, Africa, India and across Asia. She worked in Singapore for eight years with Standard Chartered Bank. She is interested in enabling teams and senior leaders to reach their full potential and can accelerate the performance of teams, including online.
Throughout the COVID lockdown she took her business virtually and her annual turnover increased by 30% because she was able to work in a virtual environment with teams and enable them to listen, communicate and build generative thinking together.
She has just completed research around hybrid working and is convinced leaders will need to learn new habits and coach their teams to work differently.
Her clients say her sessions are insightful, inspiring and fun. She is a great listener and is known as someone who can challenge with grace and charm, but who also values honest conversations and commitment to change.
Her technical background started with a degree in Occupational Psychology, and she has an international career in human resources, including 25 years with Standard Chartered Bank. She has both generalist and specialist global HR roles, including setting up an internal coaching function which is still thriving today. Latterly, she has worked with two global CEOs to help build the performance of their executive teams. Each year she undertakes new professional training and most recently qualified as a Wellbeing coach and a Time to Think facilitator.
Her current client base spans both the commercial and non-profit sector including MasterCard and Save the Children International. She is a trustee for Myeloma UK and the patron of Pink Dynasty, which supports disadvantaged women seeking entry into professional careers.
