There is continued progress in the use of leasing by UK firms, despite a temporary downturn in business investment and equipment leasing since the turn of the millennium. This gradual increase in the use of flexible asset financing is consistent with the increased pressure on treasurers and financial managers to seek more economically priced and flexible capital finance.
