Join us to explore the changes happening across working capital and what they could mean for your business. Our panel will look ahead to 2030, sharing their views on what could disappear, what could emerge and which of today’s practices might soon look outdated – as well as the developments driving those changes.
The discussion will also turn to the panellists’ own career journeys with a ‘Things I Wish I Knew Earlier’ session. Senior leaders will share a mistake they have learned from, an important lesson from their career and a decision they would make again.
There will also be an opportunity to put your questions to the panel before continuing the conversation at a networking reception with fellow members and finance professionals over drinks and nibbles.

Carol Thurnheer: Carol Thurnheer is a senior treasury leader at Haleon plc, with global experience spanning regional treasury, finance director, financial controller and auditor roles across more than 60 markets.
She played a central role in building Haleon’s treasury function from the ground up since its separation from GSK, bringing together deep financial, regulatory, and commercial insight from across her career.
Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (FCT), a qualified accountant, and holder of the ICA Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention, Carol is a regular speaker at leading industry forums and is committed to mentoring the next generation of treasury professionals.
Sophia Karanicholas: Sophia is a Cash & Working Capital Director in Deloitte’s Value Creation Services team with 10+years of experience delivering large-scale transformations and rapid diagnostic and implementation programmes. She has led and delivered millions in sustainable cash improvement across Receivables, Payables and Inventory for her clients, across both PE backed and Corporate businesses.
Kemi Bolarin: Kemi Bolarin ACA, FCT, is Head of Treasury - Europe at GXO Logistics, with over 25 years of experience across treasury, banking, capital markets, liquidity management, and treasury transformation. She has held senior treasury leadership roles at GXO, GTT Communications, and Travelport, leading complex financing, banking, working capital, and transformation initiatives across global organisations. A Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, Kemi is passionate about leadership, mentoring, and social impact. She serves as Treasurer Trustee and Board Member of a Multi-Academy Trust and is Dean of Career Nuggets Academy, supporting the development of future leaders and underrepresented talent.
Kemi was named Treasury Today's 2023 Woman of the Year (EMEA) and was recognised as one of the UK's 2024 Kindness & Leadership 50 Leading Lights. Through her professional and community work, she champions inclusive leadership, career development, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.
Shikha Kalra: Shikha Kalra has spent almost 20 years helping companies improve liquidity, optimise working capital, and access financing solutions to support growth. In her role at FIS, she advises corporates on working capital finance and balance sheet optimisation. Shikha is also Co-Founder of Women in Working Capital, a global community focused on networking, knowledge sharing and career development for professionals across the working capital ecosystem.
