Judge's Tips

Top tips for submitting your nomination

Are you preparing to submit a nomination for the ACT Middle East Treasury Awards? Take a look at the top 5 tips from our judges to help with your entry.

  1. Make it real and relatable. A good nomination reads like a story. Walk us through the challenge, your approach, the hurdles, and the outcome.
  2. Innovation and courage count. Whether it’s a bold funding strategy, a tech implementation or a Treasury transformation, the judges love seeing nominations that show someone dared to push boundaries – especially if others are now following your lead.
  3. Celebrate the people behind the project. Even individual awards are rarely solo efforts. If your success came from cross-functional collaboration, smart leadership, or great teamwork – highlight it. Culture and people make a big difference.
  4. Tailor it to the category. It sounds obvious, but make sure your nomination speaks to the criteria of the award you’re entering.
  5. Evidence helps. If you can, please include metrics, feedback, and testimonials to highlight the impact of your nomination.
