Future of Finance Event 2020

18.00 – 21.00, 30 January 2020
Future of Finance

The first ACT Treasury Network meeting to be held in 4 different locations took place on 30 January 2020.

This very exciting event was hosted in London and live streamed in 3 other locations: Dublin (in conjunction with the IACT), Edinburgh, and New York (in conjunction with the NACT). The event was kindly hosted by Slaughter and May, Arthur Cox and Cravath, Swaine and Moore and Shepherd Wedderburn.

Expert presentations covered the future of finance by Steven Swientozielskyj, Immediate Past President of CIMA, and on FinTech and its impact on treasury by Tram Anh Nguyen of the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship. The presentations were then followed by a Q & A and discussion between the two speakers, moderated by ACT Chief Executive, Caroline Stockmann, with an opportunity to network with fellow members and finance professionals after the presentations in all locations.

  • Caroline Stockmann, Chief Executive, ACT
  • Steven Swientozielskyj, Immediate Past President of CIMA
  • Tram Anh Nguyen of the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship

The London event was exclusive for ACT and CFTE members only. For the events in Dublin, New York and Edinburgh, all were welcome to attend.
