How to build your resilience

This free-to-attend event looks at resilience – the nature of resilience, its definition and characteristics and how it can help you to build your confidence. This will be an interactive session that will help you to consider your own challenges, explore effective coping methods and discuss the best way to tackle adversity in and out of the workplace. Amanda will also share some practical tips to ensure you can effectively navigate challenges and build your resilience. If you would like to book onto this event please email znorris@treasurers.org A lot has been written about how to build resilience and appear confident. Resilience is often thought of as how quickly you ‘bounce-back’, but those with resilient characteristics tend to be better at listening to themselves – understanding what is right for them and when to say no. Amanda Bradley, Managing Director and Head of Congruent Disruption at Liberty EQ will be the keynote speaker. Amanda has written a number of articles about resilience and self-confidence including How to cut through pressure and find your self confidence. The event is for ACT members and students working at a tactical and operational level and has been organised by the Future Leaders in Treasury group – to join this group visit www.treasurers.org/futureleaders We would like to thank Eversholt Rail Limited for hosting this event.
