You are warmly invited to join the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) and Slaughter and May at a seminar and drinks reception to celebrate the launch of the 5th edition of the ACT Borrower’s Guide to the LMA’s Investment Grade Agreements.
This event will be of interest to finance and treasury professionals representing all types of borrower, whether or not investment grade. Topics for discussion include the extent to which the somewhat uncertain economic outlook is affecting lending documentation and how far LMA terms can currently be flexed in practice. The agenda will also include an overview of recent developments affecting lending terms, many of which are discussed in the new Guide.
The ACT has worked with the LMA to ensure the Investment Grade Agreements reflect an appropriate balance between the interests of lenders and borrowers since the templates were first developed. The ACT’s Guide explores the key provisions of these Agreements, which are adapted for a wide variety of lending transactions and outlines some of the typical discussion points. It aims to help borrowers find the right line to take when negotiating LMA-based facility documentation.
Copies of the ACT’s Guide will be provided to attendees.
