In today’s volatile world, sustainability is no longer a side project, it’s a business need. Treasurers are uniquely placed to make a difference, guiding capital allocation, funding strategies, and risk management decisions that shape long-term impact.
This webinar explores how the Certificate in Sustainable Finance for Treasury (CertSFT) can help you meet these demands with clarity and confidence.
Sustainability is moving from optional to operational. Regulation is tightening, ESG scrutiny is rising, and expectations from boards, investors, and customers are shifting fast.
Treasurers are expected to lead. 82% of treasury professionals say they’re already being asked to integrate sustainability into financial decision-making.
Treasurers aren't feeling confident in their ESG knowledge. The CertSFT bridges that gap, making you the person your business turns to when it matters most.
✓ A practical look at how sustainability principles apply to treasury, across liquidity, risk, investment, and funding strategies
✓ Insight into how the CertSFT helps you build trusted knowledge of ESG, so you can make better financial decisions at work
✓ Advice from tutor Carel van Randwyck on studying, succeeding, and using this knowledge to grow your career
✓ A complete overview of the course content, assessment, and support from our Learning and Awarding Body team
Carel brings nearly 40 years of global financial expertise to this course. Sustainability isn’t new to Carel, it became central to his work in 2013. Since then, he’s served as Head of Impact at a RegTech firm, advised an impact investing VC, and now helps businesses embed ESG into strategy and reporting as a partner at Rodford & Partners. He also co-authored the Certificate in Sustainable Finance and brings deep, real-world experience to every lesson.
Carel believes treasury is the beating heart of a business: “I see treasury as the financial heart of an organisation. To be effective, it’s important for a treasurer to understand all aspects of the business, what drives its revenues, costs, risks, financial flows, etc. As a result, the treasurer needs to understand a business’ strategy and its operations, requiring the treasurer and treasury team to collaborate and work effectively with all disciplines of a business. Hence, a good stepping stone to becoming a CFO."
