Onur Ozan is managing director for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey operations of SWIFT, overseeing the development of SWIFT’s business across the region.
As part of this role, he looks after the execution of the strategy of SWIFT within the region and go-to-market activities. He is also responsible for identifying market opportunities, fostering industry education in payments modernization, driving SWIFT’s local initiatives and working with the community to provide solutions to regional industry challenges such as financial crime compliance and cyber security.
Onur specializes in payment systems, middle/back-office transaction management solutions as well as project management. Onur has been with SWIFT for ten years during which he held the positions of Head of Business Development for the Middle East, Turkey & Africa, and Country Manager of several of the largest markets in the region. Prior to joining SWIFT, he worked in consulting and product management roles across the financial services industry. Onur holds an MBA from Hult Business School, USA.
Hemant has been in the banking industry for over 30 years with progressive and diverse experience across various fields with specialization in cash management, and extensive working across trade, product, and relationship management. An MBA graduate with 20+ years of Multinational Banking experience, across UK and MENAT markets supporting the strong cross fertilization of knowledge of products, business, clients and banking knowledge across the various sectors.
In his current role with Mashreq bank, Hemant oversees the Payments and Liquidity Management business for Mashreq bank.
Caroline Stockmann has been Chief Executive of the Association of Corporate Treasurers since February 2017.
Prior to that Caroline held the position of Chief Financial Officer at The British Council, the UK’s largest charity, and before that at Save the Children International. She has 25 years’ experience in senior finance, commercial and strategic posts at a number of commercial organisations including Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Switzerland), Cadbury Schweppes, Granada plc and Unilever/ Bestfoods (Thailand, Netherlands and UK). Much of her working life has been spent overseas.
Caroline trained with KPMG and is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). She has an ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting and has filled numerous roles on boards over the years, some current roles including being a member of the Finance and Investment Committee of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Deputy Chair of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers and the International Group of Treasury Associations, as well as President of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers (US). Caroline is a linguist, musician, trained coach and passionate bell ringer, and is married with two children.
