Achieving the right balance between work and life has long been hailed as the key to employee wellbeing and productivity. How to achieve it though, has proved a more contentious question: many feel traditional 9-5 work schedules don’t give them the flexibility they need in their life outside of work. On the other hand, remote working and the constant connectedness that often comes with it can also lead to poor work-life balance. What many of us have in common, is that we feel like aspects of our work are eating into our private lives in a way that isn’t ideal. So where does that leave us and what can we do about it?
Om 27 November we explored evolving attitudes to work-life balance and what they will mean for the workplace of the future.
