This category considers noteworthy deals/projects on the basis of excellence in corporate treasury, as demonstrated by any or all of the following:
- sound treasury/finance management
- efficient pricing
- optimal or innovative structure
- relative success in prevailing market conditions
- Judges consider all types of deal, whatever the size.
Entry requirements
- The deal/project must involve a non-financial corporate organisation (not banks, financial institutions or government departments) and the treasury team must have played a significant role
- All sizes of deal and company will be taken into consideration
- To qualify the deal/project must have been executed by the treasury team/treasurer within the Middle East or Africa
- You can nominate a corporate organisation or enter yourself
What are we looking for?
- Why the deal/project was important to the organisation
- Its fit into the overall strategy of the organisation
- To what extent the team involved influenced the type of deal/project
- Which other departments were impacted or involved in the deal
- How relevant stakeholders were engaged
- The complexity of the deal
- Any innovative elements of the deal
- What makes it stand out and why?
