FAQs

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the virtual platform ahead of the event. If you do not find the answer to your question below, please email events@treasurers.org for support. 

Q: What web browser should I use? 
A: Chrome, Edge or Firefox. The virtual platform does not support Internet Explorer.

Q: What happens if I can’t access the platform? 
A: Please make sure you are accessing the platform outside your work remote desktop or work VPN.

Q: Can I access the platform on my smartphone?
A: Yes, but it is recommended that you use desktop, laptop or tablet for a better experience.

Q: Will I stay logged in/ on if I close my browser (on my phone or desktop)?
A: No for security, you can only access the platform on one device at a time.

Q: What will happen when I log in to the platform for the first time? 
A: You arrive in the Welcome Lobby where you will be able to click through to the Exhibition & Networking Hall (see tab along the top of the page) where you can update your profile, view the list of attendees and schedule meetings. When the conference page is live you will be able to highlight/ create reminders for sessions that you would like to watch. If there are on-demand sessions available you will be able to watch these at your leisure.

Q: Will I be able to contact anyone if I am having issues with the platform? 
A: Yes, there will be tech support available on the platform additionally you can email: events@treasurers.org 

Q: Will I be able to network with other guests like at a live in-person ACT event? 
A:  Yes, this can be done on the Exhibition & Networking Hall page (see tab along the top of the page) where you can message, video call or arrange meetings with other attendees. 

Q: How do I arrange meetings on the platform?  
A:  In the Exhibition & Networking Hall you can click on another attendees’ profile where there is an option to arrange a meeting. You can also click on the tab at the top of your screen labelled ‘Who’s online’ and again click on their profile which enables you to also arrange a meeting, chat or video call.

Q: Will I have access to the delegate list?
A: All attendees will be able to see who is registered to attend the event through the attendee list in the Exhibition & Networking Hall.

Q: How do I view the live sessions?
A: To watch the live sessions during the event, click on the Conference Hall tab at the top of the screen

Q: How do I view recordings of the sessions once they have taken place?
A: Once a session has taken place, a recording will be available within 24 hours and can be found within the Conference Hall tab
