ACT treasury networks are a key member benefit, designed to create opportunities for all members to meet in a variety of locations for free. These meetings are a great way to meet fellow members, talk shop, hear interesting presentations from industry experts and to build relationships with others who live and work in your area.
Why is networking important?
Networking enables you to develop and maintain professional relationships. But more than this it can also raise your profile, develop your career prospects and foster contacts with clients and suppliers.
Member events provide a great opportunity for you to meet interesting people, who have similar interests to you, in an informal environment. They also enable you to develop and refresh your professional knowledge.
In 2024 we held 14 in-person member meetings in London, Leeds, Edinburgh, Bristol, Glasgow, Zurich, Aberdeen and Singapore.
How do ACT Treasury Networks work?
Our networks are built around our members; we run events where we have a significant number of members and students. Each network has at least one Ambassador, who helps to plan, organise and facilitate the events. Sometimes these are informal networking drinks, while at other times we have formal presentations and/or panel discussions on treasury related topics and there is even a black tie Burns Night dinner!

As an Ambassador you will be able to help the treasury community in your area, steering the events we will run and helping to develop a local community.
